''The Champion's Challenge

     Early Campaign + Forrnest
E1: The Ranger Challenge PT. 1E2: The Ranger Challenge PT. 2E3: Disarmed and a Leg
  • Cera and Calum encounter some astonishingly good luck during the fight with the Harpies, with both of them earning Nat-20's on their intimidation checks, successfully rattling their foes. For Calum, in particular, he uses a thundering roar, one that clears out most of the thick, unnatural fog in the area, revealing the weapons horde that his party is after.
E4: Old Flame, New Blood

     Volkhanom
E5: The Barbarian Champion: Atlissa!
  • Atlissa decides to test Passione's mettle in a duel, with her holding back to make her challenge more fair. While footage of battle is unfortunately lost, Passione apparently won the duel, successfully endearing themselves to Atlissa, who decides to show off the symbolic Red Trophy as a reward.
E6: The Red Trophy
  • Ophelia truly gets to prove her worth during Passione's fight with Roid the Red. She works in tandem with Calum to double up on their blood curses on Roid, leaving him extremely vulnerable for Atlissa as the rest of the party takes care of Roid's goons. At one point, Crafty flat-out admits that Scarlet and Kayden's decisions lead to the single most effective way to deal with a monster like Roid, who likely would've been felled on the spot had he not opted to retreat.
E7: Fighting is the Pits

     Lordpact
E8: Silent Night, Deadly KnifeE9: Precarious PoliticsE10: Pact or No PactE11: The Dark Magician of Fraygle Coast

E12: Under a Rock and a Hard Place
  • After Karloff's attack, the party demand an explanation for his actions. Karloff explains that he was testing the party with a simulated fight against Yuan-Ti cultists, as he's afraid that they may try to steal back Cera and abuse her for her initial purpose as Merrshaulk's host. He's extremely cold about the entire situation, treating Cera less like his surrogate daughter and more like a threat that needs to be contained, leaving Cera's friends far more frustrated than they were initially. Suddenly, Mystrief, who had been listening in to the conversation, speaks through Zepelli, angrily calling out Karloff for his indifference and proudly declaring that if Karloff refuses to act like a parent, then she will. It's the first time in the series in which any of the Grandure deities express fondness for one of their patrons, and it's a wonderfully cathartic moment to see Karloff put in his place, even if he isn't explicitly shaken by Mystrief's sudden appearance.
