He even arrogantly mocks people who don't believe in reincarnation. Shinra challenges him one last time by forcing him to remember how his victims (who believed in reincarnation as well) still ended up begging for mercy, that they were afraid of death despite their belief. The culprit's resolve soon breaks apart and Shinra punches him in the face afterward.
• In Volume 2, Shinra can tell that the Noh mask has low quality in one glance. Even more awesome, Shinra can tell that the artist made such low quality mask "on purpose" with bad intentions, simply by talking to the artist himself. For an art enthusiast, his ability in psycho-analysis is amazing, if not borderline frightening.
• Mao uncovering the fraud and money laundering schemes between a multi-billionaire insurance company, an international bank, and a drug lord, then blackmailing them to do business with her in her dedicated chapter, is nothing but awesome.
• In another of Mou's dedicated chapter "The Elf Door", she shows the reader how to enact revenge elegantly. She uses her connection with the black market to confirm that a transaction of contrabands will take place in Japan. Mou understands that she cannot ask for help from authority figure such as Bier Brust who doesn't trust her, so she baits Shinra and Nanase into helping her catching the criminal mastermind and his goons by acting suspicious on purpose so Shinra will take notice. Her reason in doing so? The main criminal is the con master who sold fake artifacts to Mou's parents years before the story even began. There is a reason why Mou is called "The Black Market Witch". If you happen to unknowingly angered her in the past, just pray that she somehow forgets about you.
