• In the season 3 finale, when Torben's nemesis Alex is saying goodbye because he's been fired for provoking a mass mutiny in the news department with his consistently assholish behaviour, he meets Torben in a corridor and says brightly 'It's been fun.' Torben nods and Alex walks away. Then Torben turns around:

  Torben: Alex, the next time you want to have fun . . . go to the fair.
