Awesome / Batman and Harley Quinn

While this movie is definitely geared more towards comedy, there are definitely some awesome moments in Batman and Harley Quinn:

  • While it also counts as heartwarming (and even tearjerking to certain extent), it's great to see that Harley really has turned over a new leaf and is doing her best to live a "normal" life.
  • The fight scene between Nightwing and Harley, after she explains that he's going to be getting all the pay back from the sexual harassment that she's getting from her job as a waitress.
    • Before that, when Harley beats a male customer at her restaurant job when he tried grabbing her butt.
  • While doubling as funny moment to a certain extent, Harley's the one who comes up with the plan to defeat Floronic Man—she suggests simply setting him on fire, since he's made of plants.
    • Also, before that, Harley's able to convince her BFF, Poison Ivy, to turn against Floronic Man's plan to turn the humans and animals of earth into plant hybrids through fairly simple means: Harley just combines Puppy-Dog Eyes with tears —and it works! This also triples as a funny and heartwarming moment.
  • After Harley convinces Poison Ivy not to go through with the plan, Floronic Man summons a fist-shaped plant to attack her. Ivy uses her control over plants to push back the plant, before completely ripping it in half.
  • The entire Bad Guy Bar sequence, due to a combination of sheer Continuity Cavalcade, two genuinely wonderful musical performances, and Batman, Nightwing, and Harley beating up every guest at the bar at the end.
  • Two more awesome things to note about it:
    1. While doubling as heartwarming, it's awesome to see that Nightwing was able to fully reconcile with Batman after what happened between them in The New Batman Adventures, as they're shown working together without any hint of Teeth-Clenched Teamwork.
    2. Harley isn't shown working with the Joker in any way, shape or form—in fact, the Joker's only mentioned about two or three times throughout the entire movie. It's awesome to see that Harley was finally able to realize what a monster the Joker was and be able to get away from him and become her own person.
