- Ragna fighting on par with Azrael of all people when no one else in their group so far could even keep up.
- Jin using the Power of Order to destroy all of the abnormal Grimm during the Grimm Breach. Making things better is that he was given the title of Hero of Vale for is actions.
- Jaune being able to endure Noel's cooking which is terrible beyond words.Nora: IT'S WORSE THAN DEATH!
- Few examples that also count as Tear Jerkers.
- Beast-Ragna taking on Ruby, Team JNPR, Team SSSN, Team CFVY, Penny, Sol, Ky, Noel and Makoto and wiping the floor with them and being completely unfazed by their attacks and Semblances. Even when Ruby awakens her Silver Eyes and hits Beast-Ragna with a blast from them, it does jackshit.
- Jin taking on Beast-Ragna using the Power of Order and actually keeping up and overwhelming him. As mentioned above, the combined forces of all those teams and people didn't land a scratch against Beast-Ragna, but then Jin comes along and actually gets the advantage due to the Power of Order being basically the Grimm Aura' polar opposite.
- After finding Celica half-dead and told to meet Terumi on top of Beacon, Ragna proceeds to effortlessly slaughter entire hordes of Grimm in his way, cleaving and ripping them apart as his rage and sadness boils up from within. It's a very sad moment, but still amazing to read. While Ragna does end having his ass handed to him by Terumi, he powers through it and is able to be the one who nearly kills Cinder in this story, which for many viewers is very cathartic to see due to how smug she was acting and how she essentially ruined Ragna's life and broke his friends' trust in him.
- For villainous examples:
- Hazama was able to pull off a Xanatos Gambit. By making the Grimm Breach work to the advantage of the villains. Ensuring that no matter what happens, the villains will be in an even better position in the long run.
- Nu taking on and defeating all of Team JNPR singlehandedly and barely using any of her power to do so.
- Terumi's Curbstomp Battle with the students, using nothing but kicks and parries the deal with them. He also kills a random student by effortlessly snapping his neck to show just how screwed they are. It's only when Jubei appears to fight does Terumi finally fight seriously.
- Ragna using his Astral Finish against Cinder. For many that wanted her to suffer for what she's done up to this point in the story. This is a very satisfying moment.
- Hakumen's appearance, the moment he appears he singlehandedly cuts down Tyrion and proceeds to curbstomp team RBAL.
