"Hey, Cat R. Waul! We've come to close you down!"

Awesome moments in An American Tail: Fievel Goes West.

  • Near the beginning, Fievel rather foolishly decides to challenge the biggest guy in the Cat Gang to single combat. Surprisingly Realistic Outcome happens as the one-eyed cat says out loud that he plans to eat Fievel, and the poor little mouse is scared stiff. At the last moment, Papa shows up and starts playing his violin so (intentionally) quickly and badly that now the CAT can't move and Fievel can escape! That's the power of music, people!
  • Tiger's Training Montage that finally puts his inner Dirty Coward to rest and readies him for the final battle against Cat R. Waul's gang.
  • Tiger, Fievel and Wylie Burp don white Badass Longcoats and walk slowly into town, looking menacing like badass gunslingers, to free it from Cat R. Waul's grip.
  • Tiger saves the mice by using his slingshot to shoot Cat R. Waul's pair of scissors out of his hands as he was about to use it to cut the ribbon holding the giant mouse trap.
  • Tiger sees Miss Kitty being held hostage by Chula, and he goes absolutely berserk on Cat R. Waul's gang. The dude barks and snarls like a rabid dog, blasting the cats with Improbable Aiming Skills, and generally making quick work of the entire gang of outlaws. Not only that, he did this entirely on his own, without getting hit once.
    • At one point, he spits a knife back at one of his enemies, snagging his hat and sending him flying onto the mousetrap! Cut to Wylie:
Wylie: I never taught him that one.
    • To finish it off, he even gets over his fear of Chula and effortlessly deals with him by using Chula's web against him.
Tiger: You harm one patch of fur on her, and I'll tear you apart! [Chula spits webbing at him. An unfazed Tiger grabs it and pulls it.] One leg at a time!
  • Fievel gets a hold of Cat R. Waul's human-sized gun during the battle and turns it against him, then (after Tiger has saved Miss Kitty) gleefully uses it to spring the cats' trap, sending them flying into the mail bag for a speeding train to sweep away.
