- Winter in a power-loader vs. a Raven. Winter kills it by picking it up, slamming it into the floor, and impaling it with the loader's arm and spinning it inside the Raven.
- The Reveal about the identity of the marine you spend about half the game looking for: it's Hicks. It may have been a bit of an Ass Pull, but rest assured that nobody saw that one coming. And after the reveal, you end up fighting side by side with Hicks for the rest of the game.
