Awesome / A Plague Tale: Requiem

• Amicia and Hugo were already badass in Innocence but they become even further levels this time from the beginning to the end, especially the absolute hell they went through before.
• The first instance of that is in the third chapter. While looking for the nightshade, Amicia and Lucas end up cornered in the herbalist´s house by soldiers. After spending the first half evading them while muttering how inhumane and despicable they are, Amicia decides that she had enough and starts fighting back, killing waves of soldiers with her sling while loudly boasting how she is not afraid of them anymore and how she is going to slay them all. While this is also a bit of Nightmare Fuel about Amicia becoming more merciless and bloodthirsty with her enemies, it is nonetheless absolutely awesome.
