• Fred refuting his uncle with simple logic.
  Scrooge: What right have you to be merry? What reason have you to be merry? You're poor enough.
  Fred: Come, then. What right have you to be dismal? What reason have you to be morose? You're rich enough.
• Jacob Marley somehow procured the chance to save Ebenezer from his fate, and by proxy everyone Scrooge helps at the end, all while being doomed himself.
• The Ghost of Christmas Present's "The Reason You Suck" Speech to Scrooge. He practically takes the miser apart for his concern over Tiny Tim's health when he suggested letting the poor die off because they couldn't go to prisons or workhouses.
  Christmas Present: If man you be in heart, not adamant, forbear that wicked cant until you have discovered What the surplus is, and Where it is. Will you decide what men shall live, what men shall die? It may be, that in the sight of Heaven, you are more worthless and less fit to live than millions like this poor man’s child.
• Without saying a word, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come spooks Scrooge with the threat of a lonely death. With this, Scrooge gives up his wicked ways.
