More often or not, the SiIvaGunner team has their high quality rips noticed by their original composers and/or the creators they referenced, and they have been subsequently impressed by the parodies the team create from their works, whether they are comical or absolute bangers.
- Ukinojoe discovered the channel after somebody sent him the rip of Splatoon - Lobbynote , which samples Dog Of Wisdom. He retweeted it, and since then has been following SiIva on Twitter.
- Etika of EtikaWorldNetwork commented on the Fighting - Final Fantasy VII rip, which he was one of the sources of. He also featured at least one of SiIva's rips in his videos.
- Hideki Naganuma, composer of the Jet Set Radio series and Sonic Rush, is well aware of the rips of his material and enjoys them. He also watched the King for Another Day tournament pretty closely, and even posted a screenshot of the Professor K takeover stream.
- The rip of "Don't Worry" from Xenoblade Chronicles X remixes the GameXplain discussion theme, and also uses audio from their review of said game. They were pleasantly surprised when they came across the video by accident.
- In fact, André Segers himself, the head of GameXplain, even lent his voice to the opening and concluding narration of the compilation video for all used and unused VS./victory lines for the "King For Another Day Tournament", which, along with its predecessor from the previous tournament, was styled to specifically resemble a GameXplain video.
- Ian Jones-Quartey, one of the people that was on Steven Universe's show staff, made a tweet about the rip that mashed up Indigo Caves from Attack the Light with "Creep" by Radiohead, expressing his approval of it. From there the Grumpyface Studios' official twitter account replied to the tweet expressing approval, with Rebecca Sugar also retweeting it. Ian also made a tweet about "Title Screen (Beta Mix)", another rip of the game.
- On the topic of Steven Universe, Rebecca Sugar also left a positive comment on the "Here Comes a Thought" rip made for the "King For Another Day Tournament".
- "Intro (OST Version) - Mega Man 2" is a mm2wood-style cover of the Mega Man 2 rap by The Adventures of Duane & BrandO. The duo's official account commented on the rip, simply saying "PERFECT".
- Roger Craig Smith and Mike Pollock, in character as Sonic and Eggman, expressed their approval of the channel during the Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter's "Ask Sonic" event (though they pronounce his name "GIL-vasunner", like the original channel they parodied).
- The Living Tombstone is well-aware of rips featuring elements from his song about Five Nights at Freddy's. He even cracked a joke about the "Main Theme" rip (that he directly helped with) and left a hearted comment on the "Snow Room" rip.
- Smooth McGroove has expressed his approval of the Secret Gardens rip from LittleBigPlanet 3, which uses his Acapella cover of the song as its source.
- Magnus "SoulEye" Pålsson, composer of VVVVVV made a tweet, and later a comment, approving of this rip, which mixes a song from Street Fighter II with the VVVVVV song that it inspired.
- The Official Mr. Rental Facebook page has stated that he enjoys SiIva's rips. (Rental himself is a recurring character on the channel.)
- Jesse Hernandez, one of the creators of The Nutshack, voiced his approval◊ of the rips that use the Nutshack theme - in this case, the DK Rap (Coconut Mix).
- Ambassador Foxx, one of the streamers behind the PaRappa the Rapper 2 "chinese" video, approves of the video being referenced in rips.
- NitroFun are well aware of the Sonic Mania rips, them being one of the composers of the original trailer theme.
- Stefan Karl Stefánsson, the actor of LazyTown's Robbie Rotten, approved of SiIva's LazyTown rips.
- A few voice actors and people famous in the Newgrounds community, including Chris Niosi and Kira Buckland (aka Rina-Chan), who even voiced Umi Sonoda in the English dub of Love Live!, helped work on the rip of "Agent Yoru o Yuku" from The Idolmaster.
- Mike Matei approved of the Gadget rips, especially Calm - Minecraft.
- Neil Cicierega tweeted out "GooD" in reply to the Main Theme - Icon Architect 1.0 rip, which included several of his Mouth albums' running gags.
- Dan Salvato, known for creating Doki Doki Literature Club! has voiced his approval, subtly, on later videos using music from his game.
- In this video from Magfest 2018, Jun Senoue, composer of Sonic Adventure 2 voiced his approval of the original "Live and Learn" rip.
- In the comments of the Blazing Treads rip of ''Little Big Planet PS Vita'', the composer of said song, Dominic Parker, was both honored and confused that Silva even considered to rip the song he made in less than a day.
- Shortly after Mt. Dedede (Alpha Mix) - Kirby's Dream Land (where the joke is the Pizzatron music from Club Penguin) was uploaded, Chris Hendricks, who composed the original Pizzatron song, voiced his approval of it on Twitter.
- YouTube music educator Adam Neely shared GameCube Startup (NA Version) on his Twitter after it used the intro music to his "Adam Neely's Bass Lessons" series.
- A Hat in Time co-composer Nick Elward (aka Nelward) has openly praised the KFAD remix of Nyakuza Manholes and has shared it on his Twitter. The official A Hat in Time Twitter account also shared a rip of Peace and Trainquility.
- Amplitude composer James Landino commented "Banger Alert" on the video for the KFAD remix of I.C.U.. The channel pinned his response in kind.
- Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64 composer Grant Kirkhope had complimented the KDAF remix of Bubblegloop Swamp and shared it on his Twitter and also found DK Rap (Unused Version) hilarious.
- Francisco Cerda, the composer of Frog Fractions 2's soundtrack has voiced his approval of the rip for "My Heart Divided".
- Dinosaur Games, the developers behind the Jet Set Radio Evolution proof-of-concept that inspired the rip playlist of the same name, said it's going to be on their playlist rotation for some time.
- Chills, infamously known for the "Burger King foot lettuce" video, approved of his song Sidelined being used in the Bramble Blast rip.
- James Rolfe approved their rip of AVGN theme in his game to use it for promoting then-upcoming Updated Re-release The Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe in his Ecco the Dolphin AVGN episode intro.
- Tim Heidecker gave his approval of the Totino's Mania "soundtrack" (using clips from the TOTINO BOY! sketch), calling it "a masterpiece".
- Camellia gave his approval to the Mad Rat Dead plash, plop, gurgle rip, replying "HEY YOU DID IT" in the comments section.
- Massively for the creators of Friday Night Funkin', namely Cameron Taylor/ninjamuffin99 and Kawai Sprite, who have posted comments on some of the game's rips, either joking about the contents of the video or expressing their approval, and sometimes even make references to the rips on their own Twitter accounts. This is especially the case for ninjamuffin, who was already a huge fan of the channel (and at least publicly, likely the first major video game developer to be so) well before he started making games, and has even stated that SiIvaGunner was what inspired him to make FNF a music-themed game, and is even listed as a special thanks in the game files, thus making SiIvaGunner's rips of the game a form of Approval of God for ninjamuffin himself. So much so, that as a fraction of the total number of clips shown, the "The Community" section of the official Kickstarter trailer of the game actually has more SiIvaGunner mod representation than any other mod, with way more famous ones such as Vs Whitty, The Tricky Mod, and Friday Night Funkin': Corruption receiving just one brief clip each, whereas the SiIvaGunner mods get 4 different clips eachnote . The present manager of the channel, MtH, has collaborated with the FNF team several times, including for charting the song "Monster". The instrumental for the Erect Mode remix of "M.I.L.F." was used in the rave set ULTIMATE QUALITY ACHIEVED a month before it was officially shown off for the game.
- Lena Raine, the composer of Celeste's soundtrack commented "never sounded better" on the "Reach for the Summit" rip.
- Alex Hirsch, creator of Gravity Falls, reacted with surprise and approval to a rip of a Gravity Falls game after being notified about it by Ian Jones-Quartey, posting exclamation marks and a set of emojis referencing the rip's joke, that being the Punch-Out!! theme.
- PuffballsUnited, creator of the Henry Stickmin Series, has voiced his approval on an "alternate mix rip" of Metal Crusher from Undertale, which is actually a remix of "Tickets, Please", a track used in the Undertale-esque sequence in Completing the Mission, the series' sixth installment. He even made a rip himself.
- Austin Brewer, voice of Counselor Ronnie in Hypnospace Outlaw made a tweet about "Senpai (In-Game Version)", a Friday Night Funkin' rip based around Hypnospace, calling it amazing. The tweet was later retweeted by the creator of Hypnospace Outlaw, Jay Tholen.
- Kade Dev, one of the developers of Vs Whitty, expressed approval and excitement on the rips of Vs Whitty tracks. Sock.clip, creator of the Whitty character, acknowledged the rips and praised them as well. The Whitty mod itself was updated shortly after the release of the rips to put in compatibility for them. This eventually lead to an official collaboration between the Whitty team and SiIvaGunner, where new rips were specifically made for Vs. Whitty: Definitive Edition for the two new characters, Julian and Nitty Gritty.
- Jack Douglas often shows up in the comments section of rips that reference his content, most notably during the SiIvaGunner All-Star Winter Festival event in 2020, in which a majority of the rips uploaded during that period reference his "ROYALTY-FREE CHRISTMAS SONGS" series.

- Mori Calliope offhandedly mentioned the SiIvaGunner channel while reading a comment during one of her EarthBound (1994) streams, after she raps one of her songs "DEAD BEATS" over an in-game track "Get on the Bus". Fast forward a few days later, the channel uploaded "Get on the Bus (In-Game Version)", which is a mashup/arrangement between the two aforementioned tracks. Needless to say, Calliope was satisfied with the outcome and shared the rip on Twitter after she completed the game.
- Ceres Fauna shared the "Hotel (Alpha Mix) - Undertale" rip, which is an arrangement of her song "Let Me Stay Here", on her Twitter account.
- Arvi Teikari, creator of Baba is You, commented that he laughed at this rip of the game's overworld map theme.
- This rip of "High School Conflict" from the Friday Night Funkin' mod Doki Doki Takeover! received compliments from two people involved in its development:

- The composer of the OST for the Smurfs GBC game The Smurfs' Nightmare, Alberto José González, has commented positively on various rips based on said OST, such as the first "Another World" rip.
- Vylet Pony has made several comments on rips in which her songs were featured, and even shared a few rips on Twitter on top of vocally tweeting out in support of SiIvaGunner using her tracks as a source.
- fizzd of Rhythm Doctor loved this rip of Puff Piece, even going as far as linking to it in the song's official upload.
- Hakita, composer and creator of ULTRAKILL, commented "ULTRASHAKE" on this rip of CHAOS.
- This rip of "Something Really Bad" from Seaman was mixed with the (absolutely vulgar) Baldi's Basics inspired song "You're Mine" which was composed by Will Ryan of DAGames. Thanks to audience submission, it appeared on the channel's DAKnockout series during episode 10.2 (Try Not to Laugh: Audience Edition Part 3). The crew immediately started dancing along to it, clearly enjoying themselves. They even correctly guessed it was from SiIvagunner!
- Many ROBLOX creators have expressed their approval of the channel posting rips from their games through the comments section during the ROBLOX 17th anniversary in September 1st, 2023.
- A subversion Played for Laughs: Alex Rochon, the voice of Caine in The Amazing Digital Circus, both commented on and tweeted the rip of Main Theme - The Amazing Digital Circus... with a nod to Mr. Rental:
- Ian Stocker, the composer of the soundtrack of Spore Hero Arena, has voiced his approval of "Captain! An Epic Battle!" (a rip of "Epic Battle" from Spore Hero Arena created for the King For Another Day tournament) in the comments on Epic Battle's Youtube upload.
