Analysis / Textual Celebrity Resemblance

This can come off, probably not wrongly, as a naive author gunning for a movie deal, on the principle that George Clooney or Cameron Diaz or whoever will read the book and say "why, the character looks like me, I must arrange to have it adapted into a film in which I can star!" This overestimates both the shallowness and the power of actors (though, that said, both Clooney and Diaz are producers as well.)
