     Random Facts About the Series
  • All vowels have vertical stripes on their bodies. Therefore, Y gets these stripes when he's being a vowel.
    • Intrestingly, R and W could theoretically get the stripes as well, since they're both technically semi-vowels too. Namely, in diagraphs like "or" or "aw", but this dosen't seem to qualify as being a vowel as they don't get stripes when doing this(likely due to the obscurity of the fact).
  • Silent letters wear ninja suits. So far this has only been seen on E, but if hypothetically the Alphablocks were to spell out "Knight", then K would wear the ninja suit. If E is changing a word to another word by being there (like turning "hug" into "huge"), then he wears a magician's hat as well as his ninja suit, but if he isn't (for example, the word "cake" because "cak" isn't a word) then he doesn't.
  • "You-know-what" as T calls it usually goes like this: the letters who are needed to spell the word hold hands in the order the word is spelt, then each letter takes turns making their sound (for instance, to spell "cat", C would say, "cuh", A would say, "ah", and then T would say, "tuh" in that order). Finally, they say the word in unison and the word comes to life. If it's a noun, the thing appears, if it's a verb, they'll start doing it, and if it's an abstract concept, then they'll embody the abstract concept (like if "FUN" is spelt, then F, U, and N will start enjoying themselves.) There are some special rules:
    • If a silent letter (see above) is in the word, then instead of making their sound, they make a "Shh" gesture.
    • If they spell out a Neologism, then either they'll ask, "What's a(n) X?" and a made-up thing will appear, or sparks will fly and they'll simply shrug. Whether the former will happen or the latter seems perfectly random.
    • With double letters and blends ("sh", "ee", etc), the two letters will be joined together like conjoined twins and say the sound of the combined letters in unison.
    • If more than one of the same letter is needed, the required letter will split like an amoeba while making their sound. When the extras are no longer needed, they jump into the main one's body.
    • As shown in the UFO episode, abbreviations may be spelled, but when they are spelled, the letters say their names instead of their sounds, and the letters on their heads turn into capitals.
