Ironically Disabled Artist
Fiction loves juxtaposition, and so in fiction, you're likely to come across a character with a disability at odds with their Art, like a one-handed pianist, a colorblind painter, or a one-legged dancer.
May be used to show them as Inspirationally Disadvantaged, portraying them as having to work much harder than their abled counterparts to create good art. Previously abled artists who suffer an injury and keep going might be
Foreboding Carcass
A dead animal is used to foreshadow that our main characters are in danger or are about to be confronted with horrors of all kinds. This helps set up the tone for the rest of the work to follow. This can happen at the beginning of the work or elsewhere; if it happens almost immediately before things go bad, it qualifies as Five-Second Foreshadowing.
