In a series as old and prolific as Bond, there’s bound to be [[TheScrappy characters who nobody likes]].

----
* Mary Goodnight from ''Film/TheManWithTheGoldenGun'' is often cited as one of the worst Bond Girls in the franchise alongside [[Film/AViewToAKill Stacey Sutton]] and [[Film/TheWorldIsNotEnough Christmas Jones]] (who are mentioned below) due to Creator/BrittEkland's DullSurprise acting and the character constantly coming across as TheLoad, a DamselInDistress, a DumbBlonde, ''and'' a bad example of the DitzySecretary despite supposedly being a trained secret agent. It also doesn't help that Andrea Anders, the secondary Bond Girl played by Creator/MaudAdams (who would return as the main Bond Girl in ''Film/{{Octopussy}}''), is widely considered to be much better-acted and a more interesting character [[spoiler:only to be unceremoniously killed off halfway through the film]]. The real kicker, though? The Goodnight from the novels was likeable and competent, a far cry from the absurdly stupid and clumsy MsFanservice the script uses her as.
* Bibi Dahl from ''Film/ForYourEyesOnly'' is usually regarded as rather off-putting, being a teenage girl who comes on to much older men. She is also unnecessary in the plot, and it doesn't help that Melina Havelock and the Countess Lisl are much more interesting and complex Bond Girls.
* Stacey Sutton from ''Film/AViewToAKill'' is the epitome of a DamselScrappy: she screams at the slightest provocation, gets captured at the most inconvenient times and forces Bond to rescue her, and fails to notice Zorin sneaking up on her in a ''zeppelin''. The cherry on the sundae? [[spoiler:She somehow survives over the much cooler (and hotter) May Day]].
* Dr. Christmas Jones from ''Film/TheWorldIsNotEnough'' is hated for generally existing only so that Bond has a backup girl [[spoiler:when the infinitely-more-interesting primary love interest, Elektra King, turns out to be evil]]. Not to mention the [[QuestionableCasting casting of Denise Richards as a brilliant nuclear physicist]].
* Verity from ''Film/DieAnotherDay'' (the one with the unnecessary [[ComputerGeneratedImages CGI]] and the pointless IcePalace) received a [[IncrediblyLamePun cold]] reception from critics and audiences. Aside from serving as a superfluous cameo from Music/{{Madonna}} (who composed the film's theme song), her acting suffers from DullSurprise and she has absolutely no chemistry with the rest of the cast, either. Madonna even won a MediaNotes/GoldenRaspberryAwardForWorstSupportingActress at that year's ceremony.
* Dominic Greene from ''Film/QuantumOfSolace'' is popularly cited as the weakest of the Craig-era villains, and one of the most underwhelming [[BigBad Big Bads]] in the franchise's history. He doesn't have any of the visceral psychosis or sadism of his predeccessor Le Chiffre or his successors Silva and Oberhauser, and he overall comes off more as a shyster trying to make a quick buck than as a WorthyOpponent for [=MI6=]'s top agent. It's perhaps telling that, although ''Film/{{Spectre}}'' acknowledges him as an agent of the titular organization and his photo is seen briefly, he isn't included in the literal RoguesGallery towards the end.
