2Luna Nera (Black Moon) is a 2020 Italian Creator/{{Netflix}} Original TV series set in the 1600s. Two siblings (Ade and Valente) fleeing from [[TheInquisition The Benandanti]] find refuge in a WizardingSchool run by a coven of witches. It was [[TheFilmOfTheBook based on a book]] series by the same name. In this story, their grandmother sacrifices herself so they can escape. They join a witch coven, and the older Ade helps them to recruit other women on the run from TheInquisition. All the while witch hunters from the village seek them out with the goal of destroying them.
