5	* BananaPeel: A variation on the classic banana peel gag. The semi truck that Perry's driving has a giant banana on the roof of the trailer; Perry stops below the Carbon-Footprint-inator and drops the banana, causing the Inator to slip on it and stick itself into Doofenshmirtz's blimp.

18	* DrillSergeantNasty: Suzy acts this way toward Candace in order to teach her the art of manipulation.
19	* HeroStoleMyBike: Played with. Perry lands nearby a parked truck belonging to a banana shipping company, so he applies for a job at the company so that he can ride the truck and chase Doofenshmirtz.
20	* LiteralMinded: Doofenshmirtz says that he has heard people talking about reducing their carbon footprint (which means making environmentally friendly choices). Doofenshmirtz doesn't know what it means, but it sounds evil, so Doofenshmirtz decides to create a giant foot made of carbon paper to leave actual giant carbon footprints all over the Tri-State Area.
21	* MurderTheHypotenuse: Parodied when Candace hides anything that could potentially be used as a murder weapon before Suzy arrives.

This all seems completely random and nonsensical until the Carbon-Footprint-Inator slips on the giant banana and falls.
24	* PunchClockVillain: Suzy is revealed to be one. She only torments Candace whenever Jeremy is present, and she's willing to help Candace when he's absent.
25	* ShoutOut: The mud flaps on the truck that Perry drives has an image of Perry as a pirate with the words "BACK OFF!" written underneath. This is a parody of similar mud flaps that feature WesternAnimation/YosemiteSam.
26	* SpannerInTheWorks: If Buford hadn't stuck the Tuff Gum to the top of the water slide, the Carbon Footprint-inator wouldn't have picked it up in the first place.
