!!This episode contains examples of:
* ArtisticLicenseEconomics: '''''TWO GOOGLEPLEX?!?''''' For reference, that's a 2 followed by 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 zeroes! There shouldn't even ''be'' this much money within ''the entire universe.''
* BattleAmongstTheFlames: In the midst of their furious duel, Jack and Mad Jack's clashing swords create sparks that quickly ignite the forest around them into a roaring blaze. Fittingly, once Jack regains his sense of inner peace and lets go of his anger, the wildfire around them dies down as well.
* BladeReflection: During their fight, Jack and Mad Jack cross blades, and Jack sees his own eyes reflected: they look just like Mad Jack's.
* BoringInsult: Jack tells Aku that he finds these tricks as boring after besting Mad Jack.
* BringIt: After taking down a seemingly endless stream of mooks, a testosterone-addled and angry Jack shouts to the sky "WHO ELSE WANTS SOME???"
* TheCameo: One of the bounty hunters that tries to take down Jack is Huntor, a villain who previously appeared in a ''Dial M for Monkey'' segment of ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory''.
* CharacterDevelopment: Before this episode, Jack was a bit more temperamental and prone to angry outbursts. This encounter led him to be much slower to get angry and channel it into more of a TranquilFury when he did.
* EnemyWithout: Mad Jack, spawned directly from Jack's inner rage.
* EurekaMoment: While Aku is frustrated over ''every'' bounty hunter failing to defeat Jack, he growls "Is there no fighting style that can defeat his?" before realizing what he said and smirking. Since "no fighting style can defeat his" he decides to create Mad Jack, to use Jack's own fighting against him.
* EvilMeScaresMe: As Jack struggles with his dark half, he sees the reflection of his own eyes in his sword and to his horror sees they bear great resemblance.
* FearfulSymmetry: During the BladeLock, Jack was fazed [[BladeReflection to see that]] his eyes look just like Mad Jack's.
* ManiacMonkeys: One of the bounty hunters chasing Jack looks (and acts) like a white, three-eyed giant monkey.
* MirrorMatch: Jack and Mad Jack match each other blow for blow, with neither able to gain an advantage over the other. As the battle rages on to the point it sets the forest on fire, it becomes near impossible to tell who is who. Mad Jack is only defeated when Jack calms down and lets go of his anger, causing Mad Jack to fade from existence.
* MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily: For the only time in the whole show, Aku briefly has much more teeth than he normally has.
* RageBreakingPoint: Jack has just fought off a small army of bounty hunters single-handed, but he manages to calm himself down... then his sandal strap breaks...
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: Mad Jack's gi is black with red trim, contrasting the white with gray trim of Jack's gi. Even his [[RedEyesTakeWarning eyes]] are red.
