5	Alphinaud and Alisaie Leveilleur are first-years at the Academia Eorzea. Two years prior, there were two rival schools that have since merged into a single school, but even with the merger, the students from those schools continue to bicker and fight. So Principle Tataru organizes a school-wide competition in hopes of fostering good will between the students. By dividing them into two groups, Light and Dark, the students will work towards scoring points by doing things such as getting good grades or doing good deeds in and out of class. Whichever group scores the most points will have their wish granted.

7	At the same time, Alisaie sparks something akin to a rivalry with Zenos, a student of Dark that is adored by his fellow Students of Dark.
