3Charles Sidney Grodin (April 21, 1935 – May 18, 2021) was an American actor, comedian, author, and TV host from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, best known for his roles in ''Film/TheHeartbreakKid1972'', ''Film/KingKong1976'', ''Film/MidnightRun'', and the first two ''Film/{{Beethoven}}'' movies.

5He was married first to Julia Ferguson and then to Elissa Durwood. He had two children, one with Ferguson and one with Durwood.
