6Richard Curtis CBE (born 8 November 1956) is an acclaimed British screenwriter, producer and film director. He has written and/or directed several beloved {{romantic comed|y}}ies, including: ''Film/FourWeddingsAndAFuneral'' (1994), ''Film/NottingHill'' (1999), the first two Literature/BridgetJones films, ''Film/LoveActually'' (2003), ''Film/AboutTime'' (2013) and ''[[Film/Yesterday2019 Yesterday]]'' (2019).

8Additionally, he has co-created several classic {{Main/Britcom}}s like ''{{Series/Blackadder}}'', ''Series/MrBean'' and ''Series/TheVicarOfDibley'', and has written for such series as ''Series/NotTheNineOClockNews'', and ''Series/SpittingImage''.
