TV Land is an American cable network owned by Creator/ViacomCBS. Started in 1996, TV Land spun off from Creator/NickAtNite as an "oldies channel", airing shows such as ''Series/TheEdSullivanShow'', ''Series/LeaveItToBeaver'', ''Series/{{Gunsmoke}}'', and ''Series/TheAndyGriffithShow''. Eventually, the network began experiencing an infamous degree of NetworkDecay, with most of their oldies disappearing from their line-up in favor of a typical blend of modern, syndicated comedies.

Today, TV Land acts as a huge revolving door of syndicated shows, with their massive list of aired programs ranging from the likes of ''Series/StarTrekTheOriginalSeries'' all the way to Creator/SteveHarvey-era ''Series/FamilyFeud''. [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programs_broadcast_by_TV_Land That Other Wiki]] lists over ''two hundred'' programs that have at some point aired on the network. Basically, if they can afford a syndication package and turn a profit on it, TV Land is more than happy to do so.

They’ve also dabbled in some original programming, to mixed success. Their most successful original series is probably ''Series/{{Younger}}'', which aired for six seasons to some critical acclaim before jumping to streaming for one more season. As of 2021, they have no original series in active production.
