* HilariousInHindsight: The Hagar being a Nailgun with splash damage. Sounds exactly like [[VideoGame/QuakeChampions the Super Nailgun]].

** Level 21 (0.8.2): Darkzone. The level features two mutators, "New Toys" and "Stealth". The first randomly respawns new weapons onto the map, including some mutator-exclusive weapons such as the HLAC, the Mine Layer and the T.A.G. Seeker. The second turns players almost completely invisible... in a game belonging to a genre where player visibility is '''EVERYTHING'''. Add to that the crowded amount of bots for such a level, and you'll have a VERY hard time trying to figure out your way from that level.

** Level 24: Dance (Instagib CTF). The Grappling Hook won't be enough to avoid those pesky bots with high accuracy. Lest of all if the above bug is triggered.
** Level 27: [[spoiler:SURPRISE!]] Remember [[spoiler:Level 17: Stormkeep with Laser Guided Rockets]] from the Nexuiz 2.0 campaign? Well, it's BACK, with a Vengeance, [[BrutalBonusLevel and]] [[spoiler:as the very last level of the game]].

** Level 24: 13 (0.8.2): Afterslime. A low-gravity rung. If the abundance of toxic pools don't kill you, the overcrowded level with enemies will do.
** Level 14 (0.8.2): Keepaway: Running Man. Keepaway is about picking up a ball and fragging with it, as you don't get to score points without it. While the HUD may help you spot the ball carrier, and the level's structure isn't really complicated, there's the matter of the other players fragging you even when you don't have the ball, just to troll you. And when you have the ball? You become the number one target for everyone. And if that isn't enough, the gamemode has a weird scoring system, you can be either the owner of the ball with the highest time or the highest fragger with it, and ''you can still lose''. Better pick up everything you can before seizing the ball.
** Level 19 (0.8.2): Xoylent. You only have a Blaster. The weapon itself is the game's weak EmergencyWeapon, whose only claim to fame is the ability to do weaponjumping with little damage and higher push (this also counts towards enemies). The level has a fraglimit of 10. Sounds easy? You'll find yourself fighting with both the enemies and the game's physics as you can't get to push the other players out of the map, while the short spaces for maneuvering of the map will allow other players to push YOU instead. Don't be surprised if you end up last.

triggered. 0.8.2 brought the level back to regular CTF, reducing the overall difficulty (it's even the third level).

* GoodBadBugs: In the campaign, given the right conditions, [[ArtificialStupidity bots will stop walking and will limit themselves to only shooting]]. This makes otherwise hard levels in the campaign a breeze.
