* ArcFatigue: Some feel this with the plot point of the Winx besides Bloom and Roxy losing their memories. It happened early on and causes a lot of drama but as of yet, no it shows no sign of stopping.

** You can probably tell that Thomas did not care much for Roy in his season 5 rewrite. Roy gets a significantly smaller role in the season 5 rewrite, not being Aisha's new love interest after Nabu went into a coma, and he is often portrayed as overly flirty towards Aisha. Season 6 changes this, as Roy is given more CharacterDevelopment and is shown communicating with his friends on getting over his feelings to Aisha, knowing she's not attracted to him.
** Krystal is this too, except to a ''much'' higher degree. She is made into a massive AlphaBitch who is incredibly mean towards Roxy and she even crosses into AdaptationalVillainy when she [[spoiler:joins the Trix and Selina's crew. That said, she is ultimately revealed to be trying to infiltrate them.....which fails and results in her wings being broken.]].
** Bloom could fall into this too, as the season 6 rewrite portrays her as far more flawed than the original series does, as she is shown to try desperately to get her friends back even if she crosses their boundaries (which [[WhatTheHellHero everyone calls her out for]]).

** The rewrite's treatment of Bloom. Bloom goes through far more suffering in these rewrites, [[spoiler: she loses Sky (her boyfriend) in season 5 and spends the whole season trying to get his memories back. She ultimately gives up her chance to do so and has to accept that the Sky she knew is gone. She also loses any contact she has with her sister Daphne due to Daphne having fulfilled her purpose.]] Season 6 makes this even worse. Bloom starts the season fresh off of [[spoiler: losing her boyfriend, but now she has to deal with her friends' memories getting wiped and potentially losing ''them'' too. And to add the cherry on top of all of this, Sky, the man Bloom lost, is with another woman now. Not just any woman, but ''Diaspro'']], with many WhatTheHellHero moments thrown into this season as well. Many have speculated that this is meant to counteract the [[CreatorsPet favoritism Bloom got in canon]], and some people like this for that reason. However, others think that Thomas is making Bloom suffer a little ''too much'' and that he's going too far in the opposite direction to the point that it borders on ''torture''.
