About audience ACI of the work it goes under. Authors opinion the work is based on is the primary character interpretation.

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Celestia's reasons for picking Twilight as her protege, as shown in the flashbacks in ‘Celestia Goes Crazy And Stuff’. It's clear Leondude thought Celestia was lying when she claimed to have never seen anypony with Twilight’s raw abilities or discovering a new form of magic is the key to alicornhood.

*AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Celestia's reasons for picking Twilight as her protege, as shown in the flashbacks in ‘Celestia Goes Crazy And Stuff’. *SugarWiki/AwesomeMoments: Izzy knocking a corrupted Celestia out with a Twilicane without her noticing.
*CatharsisFactor: Twilight telling Blueblood, Sod, and the other ponies that conspired a MilitaryCoup against her to eat shit. Especially since they've proved themselves to be annoyingly arrogant.
*CrossesTheLineTwice: Celestia pulverizing Twilight? Not funny. The narration repeatedly saying Celestia was beating the shit out of Twilight? Hilarious.
*FridgeHorror: As pointed out by a few readers, and implied in the story itself, it's entirely possible that Twilight's new tax policy will result in her and public services such as the Royal Guard running out of money anyway.
*HarsherInHindsight: Twilight telling Sod in the second story "Did I ever ask to be an alicorn? Or for the likely possibility that I might outlive my friends even though Celestia told me I won’t?". Given how later stories revealed Twilight inevitably outlived her friends and that Celestia was manipulating her to be her successor, this becomes a little harder to read.
*SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: Luna comforting Twilight in the third story while the latter was having a nervous breakdown.
*HilariousInHindsight: Because the first story was E-rated, Leondude wasn't allowed to include [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01MSUR4IzkA a video he made]] detailing why he didn't make it an animation like he originally intended in the Author's Notes because it contained swearing. Considering the stories after that were T-rated and contained ObligatorySwearing up the wazoo, this no longer seems to be a problem.
*NightmareFuel: Daybreaker in 'Celestia Goes Crazy And Stuff'. The fact that Celestia became so disillusioned with her former subjects that she planned to burn them all alive is in of itself disturbing.
*StrawmanHasAPoint: Even though Sod and his co-conspirators are a bunch of haughty [[HateSink hate sinks]], they do bring up that Starlight and Discord should have been punished for nearly endangering Equestria instead of being given special treatment. They also point out how unfair it is that a child (Cozy Glow) wasn't given a second chance while two fully-grown adults (Starlight and Tempest) were.
** As the above-mentioned FridgeHorror points out, they are right in saying Twilight isn't really fit to rule a country if her new tax policy is anything to go by.
*TheWoobie: Poor Twilight really goes through the wringer in these fics. Between being in charge of an entire country that she has no idea how to run, to having several [[MilitaryCoup military coups]] attempted against her, to her friends inevitably passing away and her subjects being in a state of disharmony come WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyANewGeneration, to finding out her former mentor had been lying to and manipulating her into being successor from the moment they first met. And then that former mentor beats the shit out of her.
