** Apparently ItRunsInTheFamily: his stepfather Coach Lawrence has seen so many apocalypses that in the previous series he told his students with annoyance that school is canceled and they should just spend the rest of the day home when a crashed Camelot destroyed the main building. To keep spirits up, he takes them on a field trip, reasoning that if they stay out of the city then they should be away from the weirdness. What does he do when the Titans rampage through the national park, cutting the trip short and endangering their lives? He shows no terror about the thought that Steve is probably in the fray, though Steve isn't, or about dying: all that matters is protecting his students.
