Gropes do not count only individuals.

* TheScrappy: The kids in the commercials, especially the animated ones who had even got upset when the rabbit tricked them when he was disguised as a painter. They never wanted him to eat them but kids in the real world felt the opposite. Even when they ''did'' let the rabbit have his Trix, it was not enough to [[RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap redeem them entirely]].

* DesignatedMonkey: The rabbit. All he wants is cereal but he seldom gets it just because some kids feel they somehow have the right to decide who gets it and who doesn't. However, the rabbit '''did''' [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trix_(cereal)#Marketing_and_advertising get the Trix twice]], where the kids were asked to send in box tops with their vote in 1976 and 1991. The results in both were a ''resounding'', "[[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments Let him eat!]]" culminating in a commercial in which he did just that. It just goes to show that while the animated kids are callous jerks, RealLife kids [[RousseauWasRight will always sympathize with the rabbit]]. It is probably why many went on to make parodies, showing the rabbit finally having enough and killing or at least brutally maiming the kids.

to:

* UnpopularPopularCharacter: Take a wild guess? The Trix Rabbit. Throughout the commercials, the kids are constantly denying him any opportunity to eat Trix, and generally dislike him outside of that. Perhaps because of this, real-world people very often end up finding the rabbit more engaging than the kids due to his schemes and the fact that he gets the short end of the stick almost every time he appears.

* FridgeLogic:
** In the ''Advertising/GotMilk'' commercial, the rabbit simply dresses up as a live action human, buys Trix from a store, and goes home to eat it. The only thing that went wrong was that he did not realize that he was out of milk. Why doesn't he just put his disguise back on and go back to buy some milk?
** In the commercials with Bugs Bunny, it is clearly shown that he is able to get Trix himself. Why doesn't he get some for the rabbit instead of offering him a disguise?
** It has been shown that even if he buys the Trix for himself, the kids will take it from him anyways.

* UnintentionallySympathetic: If you couldn't already tell by most of the the entries above, the rabbit. Especially in the 1985 commercial with Bugs Bunny, when the [[MoralMyopia kids are more than happy to share their cereal with Bugs Bunny (who is also a rabbit) but not the rabbit himself]]. This probably suggests that it's only ''this'' rabbit who the kids won't share their cereal with.
* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: The kids, who will ''never'' let the rabbit have his Trix, even when he buys it ''legally'', on the basis that it's "just for kids".

* TheScrappy: Due to constantly denying the rabbit their Trix, even when he buys it ''legally'', the kids in the commercials are this to the point that the audience roots more for the rabbit than them. [[AdultFear Makes you wonder if their parents ever come to punish them for their selfishness]].
