* NightmareFuel: There's something unsettling about how quick Sweetie was to gobble up the shrunken Tad in the end and how okay everyone was with this.
* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Hamton in "A Pigment of His Imagination", unfortunately. Hamton's reaction to being PickedLast for the soccer team is to lose his temper, accuse his friends of not being his true friends, and go home in a huff. If this was the latest in a series of games where he was picked last for the team, then his reaction would make sense, [[ConflictBall but there's no indication that it is]]. Because of this, Hamton's reaction comes off as overblown and [[ItsAllAboutMe being born out of selfishness]] rather than [[InnocentlyInsensitive his friends being inconsiderate of Hamton's feelings]], hampers the effectiveness of their apology to him in the end, and makes the whole Tad incident seem like something Hamton brought upon himself. In spite of it all, the audience's sympathy is intended to be with Hamton. (Sad music plays as Hamton blows up at his confused friends and stomps home in the beginning, for one.)

Complaining disguised as a hindsight example.

* HilariousInHindsight:
** Plucky's snipey comment about the Disney Channel is perhaps more appropriate now than it was at the time of the episode's airing, considering that many believe the channel to currently be in a DorkAge of the highest order.
** The "Gorbachev, Mr. Popular Meet To Discuss Exchange" headline features article text about the launch of Creator/FoxKids, where the show would move to for Season 3.
