This, among other reasons, is why numerous people [[FanPreferredCouple prefer pairing her up with Furrball or Calamity.]]

* In the Latin American Spanish dub, Buster Bunny was one of the first roles Marcelo Rodriguez did before moving from voice acting and becoming one of the current Spanish announcers of the Wrestling/{{WWE}}'s SpanishAnnouncersTable.

* HarsherInHindsight: All of the romantic moments between Babs and Buster and the "No relation!" RunningGag has become incredibly awkward in light of ''WesternAnimation/TinyToonsLooniversity'', which changes their relationship to become, of all things, ''[[BrotherSisterIncest twin siblings]]''.

Her fans declared that the revival was ruined because of this and Elmer Fudd, an iconic ''Looney Tunes'' character, would be left without a protegee this time; while others acknowledged that WB had to do some damage control after what she did at [[WesternAnimation/PinkyElmyraAndTheBrain that other show]] and considered her an acceptable sacrifice, and that if they want, WB can create a new student for Elmer while taking notes at their mistakes with Elmyra for improvement. Now it's been confirmed that she is [[https://mobile.twitter.com/Lentendo/status/1550655337824280576 returning]] in ''Looniversity'', people are once again split up on whether it was a good idea to keep her in or not.

** There are a lot of fanfics out there that attempt to fix the general mistreatment both Fifi and Furball get, in no part thanks to them apparently being the writers [[DesignatedMonkey Designated Butt Monkeys]]. Usually by [[FanPreferredCouple pairing the two up in some way.]]

* OlderThanTheyThink: For some viewers, it is easy to assume that Babs is the Tiny Toon equivalent of Lola Bunny; however, ''Tiny Toon Adventures'' actually '''predates''' ''Film/SpaceJam'' (Lola's debut) by a few years.[[note]]It's actually a plot point in "Fields of Honey" that Babs has no Looney Tunes equivalent around to be her mentor.[[/note]]

** Sweetie sometimes falls into this. Mostly due to the fact that unlike her adult counterpart, Tweety, she acts less like a KarmicTrickster, and more as an aggressor. This is especially prominent in her cartoon, "Let's Do Lunch", where her rival, Furball, was actually trying to ignore her, and not try to eat her. Furball being TheWoobie doesn't really help with Sweetie's likability either.

** Voice acting-wise, this is what happened with the voices of the WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes' characters in the Venezuelan Spanish dub, since it was the first time they were voiced by non-Mexican voice actors. The controversy was ''so bad'', that WB decided to exclude anything related from them from being dubbed in Venezuelan Spanish and dubbing them in Mexico since then, regardless how much they have to pay for the dub.[[note]]Dubbing in Mexico is normally more expensive than dubbing in South American countries, due of the quality of Mexican dubs.[[/note]]

** Fifi La Fume was supposed to be the DistaffCounterpart of WesternAnimation/PepeLePew whose gag was about being outrageously persistent in pursuing love to the point of [[AbhorrentAdmirer abhorrence]], but she turns out to be a very sympathetic character. Unlike her other Acme Acres classmates, she is much more poorer, living in a wrecked car junkyard, and she's just as hopelessly romantic like her predecessor, but being a teenage girl, this means that her heart is much more fragile, leading her to [[BreakTheCutie many genuine bouts of crying whenever she's rejected]], feeling that [[IJustWantToBeLoved no one would love her.]] Being in ''Tiny Toons'' means that even [[ButtMonkey her sad state and gender does not save her from slapstick]], she got a lot of abuses and at one point, [[Recap/TinyToonAdventuresS1E55ViewerMailDay blatantly shown to have been captured by]] [[AndCallHimGeorge Elmyra]] [[DownerEnding to be her pet despite her best efforts to prevent it.]] And [[WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventuresHowISpentMyVacation during her vacation]], when she tried to pursue her favorite movie star Johnny Pew, she ended up being mistreated by him in an actually non-slapstick manner, [[BrokenPedestal he revealed himself to be an unbelievable jerk]] and sent her past her RageBreakingPoint. A major part of how many fans love her is due to how the fans feels so sorry for her.

* GrowingTheBeard: Season 2 is considered by many to be a step up from Season 1. The worst animation studios from Season 1, Creator/KennedyCartoons and Creator/EncoreCartoons were fired and replaced by Creator/JonMcClenahan and his newly found studio Creator/JonMcClenahan and his newly-founded studio Startoons, the show stopped doing straight {{Anvilicious}} episodes (except for the self-aware and satirical "Elephant Issues") and many fan-favorite episodes premiered, such as "Kon Ducki", "Sepulveda Boulevard" and "Buster and Babs Go Hawaiian".

* ShipSinking: The reboot has Buster and Babs retroactively made into twins, torpedoing the ShipTease that had been between them in the original series, much to dismay of many fans.

Being a RidiculouslyCuteCritter and a [[TheWoobie sympathetic character]] also helps. This is probably also why she got cameos in ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'' as well as her being confirmed to return in ''Looniversity'' despite her predecessor Pepe le Pew being removed from the company's products.

** The announcement that Buster and Babs [[RelatedInTheAdaptation will be siblings]] in Tiny Toons Looniversity wasn't well-recieved as the original show made it clear that the two sometimes had the hots for each other. Needless to say, Tom Ruegger expressed disgust over this change.

* CreatorsPest: Concord Condor. After one of his later appearances, the gag credit outright states that Concord "isn't funny."

* TakeThatScrappy: Elmyra getting chased by zombies in "Night of the Living Pets" and then getting a taste of her own medicine after she gives the monster part of her own brain causing the monster to become like her and make her into a pet in "Night Ghoulery". Later on she would guest star in the WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}} episode ''Lookit the Fuzzy Heads'', which was an extended TakeThat against her.

** "One Beer" reportedly angered a number of parents and censors who believed the episode, which was designed to poke fun at moral of the story episodes, was in fact making fun of drunk driving. As a result of these complaints it was pulled from syndication for some time, at least until it appeared on the season three DVD set and aired uncut and uncensored on Creator/TheHub, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network (Latin America).
** Then there was the episode where MoralGuardians sap the "tooniness" out of the show. Even "Whale's Tales" wasn't this ham-handed.
