** Similarly, is Missi a tragic victim of circumstance? Or was she a vampire all along? Duke/Missi is the canon pairing (at the end, at least) so this trope doesn't apply.

* FanPreferredCouple: Duke/Missi is extremely popular within the series' fandom, even with the creator herself.

** Following ''Showdown'', were the two of them planning on actually fighting or did things get out of hand? They were pretty quick to go for weapons, but at the end they seem stunned and possibly a bit embarrassed.

** Following ''Showdown'', were the two of them planning on actually fighting or did things get out of hand? They were pretty quick to go for weapons, but at the end they seem stunned and possibly a bit embarrassed. The follow up speed drawing "After The Showdown" shows the pair looking rather disheartened, as if they didn't intend for things to go that far.
