* SidetrackedByTheGoldSaucer: While the game initially treated the various scenarios as the main game, most players tended to focus on the Sandbox Mode instead (thanks in part to the random mutations) while treating the scenarios as an elaborate tutorial. Wessel decided to just run with it, and dedicated the third major update into turning the sandbox into a proper game mode as opposed to a fun little side project.
