* JerkSue -- Being Oireish and having red hair, Lydia is known for her easily provoked temper, unless she's around Fiore. (She gets it from her mother, who was [[spoiler: Lily's best friend in school and her personal bodyguard. Since she didn't have a problem with beating up Slytherin girls and abusing her brother's powers as Head Boy to get them in trouble.]]) But that doesn't stop the fact that just wearing a "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" shirt will cause a crowd of boys to gather around her, hoping for a kiss. See the rest of this list for more of her {{Mary Sue}}ish qualities.
** She is also a BlackHoleSue (see above), though this is toned down in the latter stories.
** SympatheticSue -- Quite a lot of Lydia's backstory in her past life is dedicated to angst. She's mocked by noblewomen for being a peasant, she [[TragicDream loves Darien even though she knows they can never be together]], she suffers nobly as she introduces him to her best friend and watches the two fall in love, and dies fighting Beryl's army after watching Darien and Princess Serenity being killed. It's made more noticeable than it probably would have been otherwise, given that the stories put much more emphasis on Lydia's suffering than any of the other senshi (including ''Sailor Moon herself''). For instance, ''Promises, Flowers, & Farewells'' takes the movie's sequence of the senshi all remembering their own histories of loneliness and glosses over it, giving a description twice as long for Lydia remembering her own past life woes. That's not even mentioning ''All Hearts Can Melt'', which has Lydia spend almost all of it being withdrawn, moody, and crying about how Fiore isn't there with her ''right now'', while the rest of the senshi fuss over her and talk about how poor Lydia is so lonely and has it so rough. (Note that this behavior actually began at the end of the previous story, ''immediately after Fiore left'', when Lydia sat dejectedly out in a rainstorm and had to be brought home by Darien).
