Let\'s wait until the game\'s actually out.

* EvenBetterSequel: Obviously there's no way of telling if this is actually the case before the game is released, but this seems to be intended - ShigeruMiyamoto reportedly instructed the development team that either ''Skyward Sword'' is the best ''Zelda'' ever, or there will be no more ''Zelda'' games. Whether he's serious or not is debatable, but...

He hasn\'t specifically said that Vaati will not be in the game; it all depends on how Minish Cap fits with this game. Either way, examples that contradict themselves aren\'t a good idea.

* EpilepticTrees: Typical, since Nintendo, as usual, is being pretty tight lipped about the game. So far, one of the biggest [[WildMassGuessing fan theories]] is that [[FourSwords Vaati]] [[HijackedByGanon will turn out to be in it in some capacity]] (you know, what with the sky/wind mage associations), though this ultimately got {{Jossed}} by ShigeruMiyamoto, as he stated that Skyward Sword is the very first game chronologically, and therefore before Vaati's origin story in MinishCap.

* {{Narm}}: One thing that people have noticed is the rather goofy way Link holds out his sword. However, this is because the journalists who were controlling the game were holding their Motionplus as they have always held the Wiimote: straight toward the screen, rather than straight up like an actual sword. While that bit of Narm is understandable, the other noticeable bit is the design of the Bokoblins, who are admittedly rather poorly designed.

** Ye gods. Most of the critics regarding the graphics probably know that Miyamoto intentionally went with cel-shading to make combat easier. One critic said he didn't care, and that they should keep advancing the realism of the graphics "until you can see the sweat running down the enemies' faces." [[MugenKagemaru The user]] to whom said critic was replying [[{{Understatement}} was not amused.]]

** Even those initially [[TaintedByThePreview put off]] by the new visual style got excited once the color scheme was toned down slightly and richer, more variegated areas were shown.

* MemeticMutation: The part of the trailer where Link jumps off of the cliff has been turned into countless [=GIFs=], typically with captions by the claiming that he is committing suicide over the game.
