The only reason she's a bad guy is because she keeps hurting people. InUniverse, not even the good guys can completely disagree with her motives, as Ralph returns the Bison necklace back to the Sioux tribe and no one on Team Flash objects.

* NightmareFuel: The scene where the police mannequin becomes animated. It's very obviously set up specifically so the meta of the week can animate it, but the timing and fashion of it coming to life is surprisingly unsettling. An officer is holding a demonstration and asks for questions from the observers when it suddenly raises its hand along with the audience members and turns its head to stare at him, as if it was alive all along. What makes it so effective is that the meta was just shown to still be in her cell far away in another part of the building, so the audience isn't expecting it to animate so soon and so suddenly when her powers have never effected anything beyond arm's reach before.

* NarmCharm: Likely the writers' intended effect with the Council of Wells. In particular, the cybernetic eye on Wells 2.0 almost looks like it was ''intended'' to [[SpecialEffectsFailure look fake]].

** There's a brief gag, where Ralph under hypnosis can't remember the faces of women on the bus... but he can remember their measurements (he later does the same to Caitlin). Iris is disgusted, but before this episode aired producer and show runner Andrew Kreisberg was suspended from the show following numerous allegations of sexual harassment and creating a toxic workplace.

* MoralEventHorizon: The crew was clearly very aware that the audience would be inclined to take the side of someone fighting against the cultural appropriation of Native American artifacts, so they make sure to show Black Bison as completely unconcerned about any body count she racks up, including a little girl.
