not a YMMV trope

* SceneryPorn: The mod has some incredibly detailed and beautiful environments, such as the stained-glass lighting in the diner and the intricate shelves of the Right Field bedrooms.

Not YMMV troeps, removing

* AdaptationalWimp: Downplayed with the Minutemen. We never see them lose in the Bleachers, since that would require the player to have already built them back up, but the Sheriff's Department doesn't think highly of the previous Minutemen and their opinion doesn't change even if they come back. This is justified, however, because if the Minutemen were a strong force for good in the Commonwealth, the FSD wouldn't have much reason to exist.

* GoodVersusGood: The Sheriff's Department is dedicated to the safety and protection of Diamond City, with their ultimate goal being to destroy the Institute. The Railroad is dedicated to the liberation of synths, with their ultimate goal being to destroy the Institute. Both factions are full of good people who have done bad things, and to beat the game with the FSD, you'll have to destroy the Railroad. Averted from the Railroad's side, having the Bleachers installed and finishing the game with them does not bring you into conflict with the FSD at any point.

Not YMMV. Moving to trivia.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: After receiving many complaints about how [[GoodIsNotNice harshly]] the FSD officers treated the player, [=MunkySpunk=] tried to alleviate this by removing and rearranging some voice lines to make conversations more cordial. (WordOfGod in [[https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/68276/?tab=files&category=archived the changelog archive]], check the notes for v.95 and v.96).

* FranchiseOriginalSin: If you don't like Chapter 2's [[GoodIsNotNice abrasive allies]], [[CruelAndUnusualDeath torture scenes]], [[CharacterFilibuster long NPC speeches]], and [[SupportingProtagonist unimportance of the player in plot events]], you will see traces of all those in Chapter 1.

In there, there were only traces of it.

* StrawmanHasAPoint: Cooter is obviously wrong to blame the Sheriff for "stirring up the Gunners" with her counterattacks when the Gunners are a hostile and villainous faction in general. However, he does have a valid point about how the Sheriff's brutality and fear tactics don't ''actually'' [[TerrorHero intimidate all the bad guys into staying away]], and that he is suffering consequences for the FSD making enemies while not receiving the benefits of FSD protection.
* YouLookFamiliar: Or "you sound familiar", as the case may be. Major voice actors in the mod also play some minor characters and don't change their voices very much, such as when the actress for Dr. [=McClintock=] doubles as a frightened woman in Bunker Hill.

* GoodBadBugs: After the funeral scene, your next goal is to be let into the FSD compound, which you do by completing either the next three main quests or ten [[RandomlyGeneratedQuests radiant bounties]]. After doing one of those, you receive the "Old Friends" quest, get FSD access soon after, and the story continues. However, it used to be that the radiant option didn't check whether you'd been to the funeral, meaning that you could [[SequenceBreaking skip a huge part of the mod]] just by doing ten radiant bounties, starting "Old Friends", and following the main questline from there. You could even go back and do the first part of the mod later. The mod has since been patched so that you can never receive "Old Friends" before the funeral.
* RonTheDeathEater: In the base game, DC head guard Danny Sullivan is a genial guy who tries his best at his job despite being somewhat out-of-his-depth. Conversations in this mod portray him as totally incompetent and a sexual harasser of his subordinates.
