** Today, where MMORPGS such as VideoGame/GuildWars and VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft are mainstream and have scores of players searching for tactics, it's hilarious that Eric's secret master strategy for defeating the Red Dragon, which nobody else discovered, is Boss Juggling - drawing the Bosses' Aggro, making it constantly change targets so that it never gets to actually attack anyone. Somewhat justified, as the characters represent a person's wealth. Testing strategies against a dragon would be considered far too risky, because death of your character results in poverty, except for the fact that there was a training ground of sorts where you could fight a Wyvern (different monster, same AI) where the permadeath doesn't apply.

* DoNotDoThisCoolThing: Epics Aesop is that you shouldn't get so involved in virtual worlds that you don't do things that need to be done in the real world. However, you can't deny that the game Epic would be freaking awesome if it were real. And the idea that doing well in video games = getting a good education and being rich is an appealing one to gamers out there. It also strays into a BrokenAesop as the reason everyone plays so much is because they have to, as Epic is the colony's source of livelihood.

** The writers changing orc/draenei history so the orcs continually attacked, enslaved and raped Draenei 90 years before the Legion arrived has drawn heavy criticism for ruining the orcs depiction as as a fairly peaceful shamanistic race.

* FridgeLogic: What sort of game designer makes a game so incredibly immersive and complex , then gives its players the ability to destroy it?
** Also, even if their game characters have been killed, the other committee members are (should be?) still alive (if discredited). Why don't they just kick out and start over?
