* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter / TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: One of the biggest complaints for the film is that it's too generic and doesn't focus on each of the rather impressive ladies and their relationships to each other and their loved ones enough. Too much time is spent on action set pieces and chase scenes rather than developing their relationships. The most egregious example is the relationship between Mace and Nick. After only ''two scenes,'' they hook up and then he seemingly dies, so without developing their friendship and ''then'' having it turn romantic, the audience feels virtually nothing for the characters nor their new relationship. Nick's [[spoiler: betrayal should not have happened in the first act and then been revealed in the second act. It holds zero weight as the audience knows virtually nothing about him and it also makes no sense that he was either evil all along or switched sides to avoid being killed on mission, yet he still tries to get Mace to join him. There is nothing about Mace that indicates she'd be okay with turning coat on her own country and selling very bad weapons to very bad people, so it rings hollow that he even bothers asking her when we already know Mace is a straight shooter. Overall, the writing is undercooked and needed much more attention on each of the ladies and Nick in order to be a better story.]]
