Moving to the proper Heartwarming page

* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments:
** The very fact that Rapunzel can marry exactly who she wants, the love of her life Eugene, considering that he was a wanted thief and even about to be sentenced to death in Tangled. Her father could easily have gone through with Eugene's death sentence, or at least have forbidden their marriage and sent Eugene away from Rapunzel, but he just wanted Rapunzel to be happy.
** Rapunzel's LoyalAnimalCompanion Pascal, the only friend she ever had in the first 18 years of her life, is the one she entrusts with the wedding rings. And Maximus, who at first was an outright enemy to Eugene, is the same for Eugene. They essentially made Maximus and Pascal their best men, even though they're "just" animals.
** The Stabbington brothers apparently having made a HeelFaceTurn and now being former criminals. They first were Eugene's enemies (let's not forget they even nearly caused Eugene to be sentenced to death) but now not only were they invited to the wedding, they seem happy to be there and happy for Eugene.

Oops, just realized a "Funny" page already exist. Moving.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: As it basically is a slapstick comedy, the entire short is funny, but some things that stand out:
** The musician who performs at the wedding is made to start playing his instrument by an axe being thrown at his head. It's funny because this violent act seems completely out of place at a wedding, while at the same time being completely in character for Hook Hand (who throws the axe), and making sense as a call-back to the movie where it happened at the beginning of "I Have a Dream" (it's even the same musician).
** When Rapunzel enters the church, first the bishop exclaims "Wow", impressed, as in "She's so beautiful...", then Eugene exclaims "Wow", proudly, as in "She's so beautiful, and she's my wife!", then Shorty exclaims "Wow"... blatantly flirting, as in "The bride is hot, let me try to hit on her". A priest, of all people, basically cat-calls a bride--who's the Princess, no less--at her wedding, and then the [=UNsexiest=] of all men seems to want to try to pick up the bride at her own wedding. Also, Eugene is not having Shorty's indiscretion and tries to smack him.
** When Maximus notices the rings are gone, he imagines that because of this the castle will blow up. Talk about disproportionate consequences!
** In the same ImagineSpot, Queen Arianna yells very angrily at Maximus upon finding out. Completely opposite to her normal warm and gentle character. Even funnier because this is the first and only ever Not taking into account the series--where she did have spoken lines--because that didn't exist yet when this was released line voiced by Arianna.
** Maximus, after running through some wagons containing women's dresses, ends up not just wearing dresses, but if you look closely he's now wearing red lipstick on his lips as well. This makes another horse (presumably another stallion mistaking Maximus for a mare) start flirting with Maximus, who's not amused by this, and then basically bitch-slaps the other horse.
** To take the "They can't get my nose right" running gag up to eleven, when a portrait of Eugene that's on a large piece of fabric folds where it's not supposed to fold, another piece of the fabric ends up where Eugene's nose should be. Now they really aren't getting his nose right.
** The look on Rapunzel & Eugene's faces, and the "GASP !!!" Rapunzel does, when they see Maximus wearing women's clothes and totally covered in tar. It's obvious they notice really weird things must have happened, but because they never noticed Maximus and Pascal were gone, it's mostly a look of utter confusion.
** Rapunzel then bending away very awkwardly when Maximus walks towards her offering the rings. She just looks so utterly weirded out by the situation. And Eugene takes the ring in a very uncomfortable way, almost as if he's afraid of getting burnt by it. And behind them, the cleric is so taken aback by the whole situation that he starts to stutter and almost seems to forget that the words he now has to speak are the most important of the day, "I now pronounce you husband and wife".
** Shorty randomly yelling "Happy Birthday" instead of anything related to a wedding/marriage. Then again, it's completely in character for him.

* FridgeHorror: About 27-30 seconds into the film, we see Rapunzel's tower being sold amongst the wedding merchandise. That's right, Rapunzel's prison. The symbol of the emotional abuse she underwent, of her abduction, of her parents' heartbreak, of Rapunzel's lost youth and her lost years with her real parents. Why on earth would they sell, let alone would anybody buy, something that stands for everything negative and traumatic in the life of the princess? Especially since such a big deal is made about how the people all love and adore her and are very happy to have her back. As we see in the series when she goes back to the tower, Rapunzel is still haunted by painful memories connected to this place, has nightmares of it, and it's difficult to even just be there for her. The use seems like a slap in the face to the princess, rubbing salt in her wounds and adding insult to injury.

* HeartwarmingInHindsight: The entire short becomes a serious case of EarnYourHappyEnding for the overall series in hindsight thanks to the events of the midquel WesternAnimation/TangledTheSeries, which, to make a very long story short, shows that Rapunzel, Eugene, their friends, and the kingdom of Corona itself ended up having to go through a lot to finally get to this point.

* HarsherInHindsight:
** The series didn't exist yet when this short came out, so the absence of Cassandra in it was not an issue then. Having seen the series though, especially how it ended, this is a heartbreaking tearjerker. While this originally was "the most beautiful day of her life" to Rapunzel, knowing what we know now it must be very bittersweet for Rapunzel...
** Lots of other characters who were close friends of Rapunzel in the series are absent. Now that the series exists, it's very sad that Varian isn't present, given the history between him and Rapunzel, and Xavier (given his knowledge of the kingdom, he must have been there, if only the character had existed yet at the time), and Lance as Eugene's best friend, and Willow/Wilhelmina (the last one is sad not only for Rapunzel, but also for Arianna)...

** After seeing in the series (which came out after this short, but In Universe takes place before it) that Rapunzel's father took some time to warm up to Eugene being with his daughter, initially being skeptical of Eugene but eventually coming to genuinely appreciate him, it's even more heartwarming seeing how happy he to give away Rapunzel to him.
** The fact that Pascal is there and is the one presenting the rings to the couple, is more heartwarming after having seen in the series and the books that Pascal felt quite insecure at times during the couple's engagement, thinking he was losing Rapunzel's friendship to Eugene. Clearly Rapunzel now has convinced Pascal that she will always be his friend; it's also a "Happily ever after" for Pascal!
