* TakeThatScrappy: Chancellor Sheppard, who is disliked among the fanbase for his general incompetence and inability to do anything useful despite being portrayed as a ReasonableAuthorityFigure in canon, suffers quite a fair amount in the story. Kaiba treats him like shit, he loses his job to Crowler after the Shadow Riders incident, and when he duels against Zane, the latter reveals that he never had any real respect for Sheppard.
