* DevelopmentHell: Downplayed. While doing another Barclay episode was one of the goals for Season Four, it took most of the Season for the Writers' Room to crack it. They understandably didn't want to do another Holodeck episode and struggled to come up with a new, different story that would be worthy of bringing Dwight Schultz back. It was Joe Menosky who eventually conceived and pitched the idea of doing ''Flowers for Algernon'' with Barclay.
