* MemeticMutation: Due to the relative obscurity of the game, and the fact that the gameplay concept is very similar to Nintendo's own Franchise/StarFox that would debut a decade later, this game is jokingly referred to as a bastard sibling in the ''Star Fox'' series, and the [[VideoGame/StarFox1 1993 game]] as a successful "reboot" of the series. It isn't of course (or is it?), but its still hilarious if you think about it.
