* CrossesTheLineTwice: A child witnessing their parent die infront of them? Heartbreaking. Said parent being an Jerkass complete asshole}} with their death being caused by a toilet accident? Gut-busting.
* MoralEventHorizon: Betsy Donovan proves herself to be just as bad, if not worse than the Stotches by cruelly pretending to have learnt her lesson when she comes back as a ghost (even pointing out how the AmoralAttorney was scamming Clyde), only to immediately blame Clyde as being the entire cause of her death and not care about how his life got ruined because of her actions, throwing out any chance of redeeming herself.

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Is Betsy an ObliviouslyEvil AbusiveParent who is just too stupid and/or pissed off to even realize that she's emotionally abusing and embarrassing Clyde? Or is she aware of everything and deliberately was trying to intentionally cause suffering to Clyde because of his habit for no reason at all while framing him for putting the toilet seat up? On one hand, her first two confrontations with Clyde only has her mainly focus on Clyde without acknowledging the others around him (aside from her briefly talking to Rodger for a moment in the 2nd confrontation) and seemed to only focus on the first two words of his sentence ("Okay mom, just not in front of my friends, okay?"), implying the former, on the other hand, it's never shown on-screen that Clyde's putting the seat up, subtly implying the latter.
