** Muggshot as well, mostly because you have to have amazing dodging skills in order to dodge his bullets, and Muggshot is a pretty fast mover. To make matters worse, the second floor is oddly shaped with a few pitfalls and the last phase of the boss has you spire jumping to turn the mirrors around. Oh, and if you use a mirror as cover that's been turned to face him, it'll turn away when he goes to shoot you.

* MostAnnoyingSound: Unlike Sly's smooth, quiet voice, his teammates yell their lines. Bently in particular is bad about this, given how often he speaks.
* ParanoiaFuel: [[spoiler: Ms Ruby is the only one besides Clockwerk to know precisely who is messing around in her base of operations.]]

** Mz. Ruby , as fight against her is an UnexpectedGameplayChange to a Rhythm game, becoming strangely similar to ''VideoGame/SpaceChannel5''.
*** Doesn't help that in the [=PS3=] Collection the rhythm that you have to press the buttons in is off beat from the song. It can really annoy some of the more musically inclined players.

* TheComputerIsACheatingBastard: In "Burning Rubber," Murray must drive the team van over a series of computers that fall from the ceiling. This wouldn't be so bad, if not for the Fire Slugs that are also trying to destroy them before you can reach them. You never know where the computers are going to fall, and there's no adjusting the camera to find them--but the Fire Slugs are able to immediately head toward them. Some of the Slugs even spawn ''directly on top of the computers,'' and even when they don't, they can still appear without your knowing it and destroy five or six consoles before you can respond.
* DoingItForTheArt: In the China level, there are many blue fireworks that you can launch. Do they do anything? No, but they [[VisualEffectsOfAwesome look so cool!]]

** While we only learn of the villain's main evil deeds in their stages introductory stages, we actually see the Panda King [[DoomedHometown destroy a mountain village]] because they wouldn't pay his protection racket... then, when you enter his compound, you hear an announcement from the Panda King telling his workers to ''murder any survivors'' in case they come to the compound looking for vengeance.

*** It helps when you figure out that the second stage is shaped like a dollar sign.

** "Sinking Peril". Remember that Daredevil Comet mission from ''VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy'' where you have to rush through Melty Molten Galaxy without getting hit? Yeah, it's like that, but with a lot more climbing and precision jumping required.
*** Not to mention the fact that there are portions of the level (electrified gates) that you can't rush through--you ''have'' to wait for the electricity to stop firing before you can pass.

** ANY DRIVING LEVEL.

*** Doesn't help that in the PS3 Collection the rhythm that you have to press the buttons in is off beat from the song. It can really annoy some of the more musically inclined players.

** "Bentley Comes Through," because every broken piece of code hurts you AND you have OneHitKill security drones after you as well. It gets to ridiculous NintendoHard levels like most of the final level.

*** Not to mention the fact that there are portions of the level (electrified gates) that you can't rush through--you ''have'' to wait for the electricity to stop firing before you can pass.

** Mz. Ruby , as fight against her is an UnexpectedGameplayChange to a Rhythm game, becoming strangely similar to SpaceChannel5.

Ruby and Panda King of the Fiendish Five could qualify, [[FreudianExcuse all being rejected/bullied in their youth and becoming criminals to get revenge.]] Raleigh is a notable aversion, as [[CutLexLuthorACheck he was well off]] and [[ItAmusedMe became a villain out of sheer boredom]].

* BreatherBoss: While each previous bosses all required a specific strategy to beat them, the Panda King is nothing short of a walk in the park. His attacks are all slow, blatantly telegraphed (not that that's a bad thing) and easy to avoid. And what do you have to do to beat him. Avoid his attacks while approaching him, then whale away on him with your cane. No other boss had you do this. At all.

* HamAndCheese: Sir Raliegh

* CompleteMonster:
** Despite being AffablyEvil, Sir Raleigh can be considered this. The rest of the Fiendish Five (minus Clockwerk) all have valid [[FreudianExcuse Freudian Excuses]]: Muggshot was bullied as a kid; Mz. Ruby was [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer ostracized from other kids because of her powers]]; and the Panda King had his dreams shattered by JerkAss nobles, and later was even more humanized when General Tsao tried to kidnap his daughter and force her to marry him. Sir Raleigh's excuse? [[ForTheEvulz He was bored]].
** Clockwerk lead the attack on the Cooper home and killed Sly's dad. On top of that, he spent thousands of years stalking the cooper family around the wold, and his plan was to wipe them all out. He has so much hatred inside of him, that it kept him alive for thousands of years. Unlike most other villains, he has no excuse for his actons and is played completely seriously.

* ThatOneLevel: The first hovermachine level is a major pain.
