* UnintentionalUncannyValley: Lezah's face. Her large blue eyes are just slightly close together and looks incredibly strange compared to most wolves. [[spoiler:Most likely invoked, because it turns out to be Hazel the sheep wearing a wolf mask, explaining her odd facial proportions. Heck, even Hazel herself somewhat counts for her eyes alone.]]

* IronWoobie: K-9, surprisingly so. They are humiliated on live TV through no fault of their own (thanks, [[TookALevelInJerkass Bodi]]) and were victims of bullying when they were kids, but through it all, the girls remain upbeat and have a [[ThePowerOfFriendship strong bond]].

* TheWoobie: K-9, surprisingly so. The amount of disrespect they get heaped on by '''[[TookALevelInJerkass Bodi]]''' for [[DisproportionateRetribution being into music that he didn't particularly like]], even ''[[KickTheDog agreeing]]'' [[KickTheDog with the hurtful comments of a rival coach]], essentially humiliating them on live TV. We later learn that, as kids, they are mocked by their peers for being different (there's subtle implication that they were bullied for their [[FantasticRacism species]], and Bodi, being a Tibetan mastiff himself which the girls highly resembled, starts seeing them in a different light), and music was their only source of happiness. Just as things are looking up, [[spoiler:[[ThirdActMisunderstanding Lezah tricks them into thinking Bodi hated their original song]] and they look utterly ''[[BreakTheCutie heartbroken]]'', causing them to quit the show leaving only a sad note for Bodi to read.
