* {{Narm}}: The whole flashback showing how John lost his son. Made even worse that alongside John getting knocked down by a random rollerskater, he's unable to catch up to his son, who is riding a ''child's bicycle with training wheels'', even getting so close that he can swipe at the (clearly still slow-moving) bike's rear tire and ''miss''. Even worse is that we see the (obviously dummy) child then somehow fall off a bike with training wheels and be crushed under the car.

* CompleteMonster: Gerald Demus is a religiously-motivated SerialKiller who wants to recreate the body of Christ in time for the Resurrection on Easter by assembling it from [[AnArmAndALeg stolen body parts]]. He performs one murder for each body part—limbs, head, torso—with six planned victims total. Chicago P.D. homicide detective John Prudhomme eventually tracks down Demus and interrupts one of his rituals, but is too late to save his latest victim, who dies of massive trauma and blood loss in John's arms. After a pursuit, Demus captures John's partner and [[DisguisedHostageGambit dresses him up in his own disguise]] so he can get away and the cops will shoot one of their own. The unfortunate detective needs to have his leg removed, which Demus later steals to make up for lost time. Deciding that John personally must be punished for his interference, Demus breaks into John's home to murder his wife and sends him a taped message informing him of this, only to kill his wife's best friend by mistake and [[TargetedToHurtTheHero leaving the body behind for John to find]]. After he completes the body of Christ, he heads over to a maternity ward to [[WouldHurtAChild sacrifice a newborn child]], killing several nurses and orderlies along the way.
