Dewicking Tier Induced Scrappy, which is now a disambig.

* LowTierLetdown: Monk classes are regarded by most players as an underwhelming class to play despite their notoriety back in original game. They may hit absurd damage should they hit their Asura Strike, but other classes could do the same amount of damage without drawbacks. Other builds for them are also less efficient as well, especially when compared to the popular Knights, Hunters and Blacksmiths.

** Unlocking Glast Heim, Al De Baran and Gingerbread City headwears are real pain since it require the beating the main and side quests, and the aforementioned Collection sidequests which includes beating special boss monsters (referred to as SMVP) that spawn two hours after they are last killed but only one kind out of 3 or 4 will do spawn each week.

** The hidden photo spots, although this can be mitigated by turning on Camera mode while walking around a map. Even then, there are several spots that require the player to do certain actions before the picture can be registered in Adventurer Book.
** There’s also the Achievement system. Most of them require time and investment, but there are some achievements that are Content if the player doesn’t consult to a guide. The achievements related to cooking and marriage/divorce system are infamous for this.
** Starting from Glast Heim, the Minstrel will ask the player about the previous stories from other Minstrel. Given how PlayTheGameSkipTheStory is in full effect here, the player is expected to either read the stories or consult to a guide.

** When it was announced that the game will have brand new fourth tier classes, players were divided onto several camps: those who think it is a breath of fresh air due to the stale meta, those who are skeptical on their implementation due to PowerCreep but otherwise didn’t mind that the developers are trying to do new things, and those who despise the idea of a new class tier since at the time of its announcement the original ‘’VideoGame/RagnarokOnline’’ didn’t have fourth tier classes yet and ‘’Eternal Love’’ only had two of the six Expanded classes.
** Collaboration classes to this day are still sparking countless debates about their limited availability and cost, as well as how they are either underwhelming (Ronin) or being so powerful that they pretty much replaced the base game’s class they’re based on (Ryuoumaru and Slayer).

** The stereotypical party for pretty much every Instances released after the implementation of fourth tier classes consists of four Runemasters and a FS Saint. Sometimes Novice Guardian and Chronomancer are included for additional support.

*** The Japanese server’s developer team classified the game as an AlternateUniverse on the pre-release interviews of fourth tier classes and Japanese ‘’Ragnarok Origin’’. This is likely because ‘’VideoGame/RagnarokOnline’’ Korean server had already released their own fourth tier classes by then and ‘’Ragnarok Origin’’ having a more faithful rendition of the online game’s lore compared to ‘’Eternal Love’’.

** Everything is an indirect buff to RM / Can’t let the dev’s son look badRunemaster, the fourth tier class of Knight, is often seen as CreatorsPet due to their powerful skillset and being more likely to receive buffs instead of nerfs. As such, whenever a large-scale update is implemented, players jokingly try to find things that might count as buffs to Runemaster.
** Cats’ feet can’t reach the pedalsThe developers’ excuse for the Doram’s initial inability to use Gunslinger’s class mount, which is a motorcycle. Doram eventually gets to ride the shrunken version of the motorcycles, but the ridiculousness of the excuse is still laughed on.
** “Alberta when?” “When there is a story reason to go there” Alberta, despite being one of the first six cities in ‘’VideoGame/RagnarokOnline’’ and having a spot in the World Map, is not yet implemented as a visitable location in ‘’Eternal Love’’ after five years and still counting. Not helping that whenever Alberta is brought up during livestreams, the developers’ answer is always the same. This leads to players mocking the excuse as lazy, as well as pointing out that the newer Ragnarok mobile titles (particularly ‘’Ragnarok Origin’’ and ‘’Ragnarok X: Next Generation’’) have Alberta since their launch in spite of its lack of story relevance in those games.

** From Rank F to Rank E: At first glance, it doesn't seem to difficult: first take a picture of Ghostring, then submit a few drops to the NPC. Easy right? However, at this point there are already roving parties of players actively hunting "mini" bosses like Ghostring, so more often than not the monster will be dead within minutes of spawning. Second, one of the drops that need to be submitted is the Racoon Leaf, an already-rare drop from another mini-boss, the Smokie. The only other way to get the latter is through sending your pets regularly on Pet Adventures at Prontera to get the Prontera chests, which give you a small chance to get said Racoon Leaves. Good luck.
** Moving from Rank E to Rank D is even worse, as not only does it require yet another rare material (3 Four Leaf Clovers this time), but one now has to both take a picture THEN defeat specific MINI bosses. What's worse, it forces a player to hunt down the Osiris MVP boss as the final requirement.
** Rank D to C. It requires the player to have 1 million zeny (fortunately it won't be taken away), then go to Payon and give 1000 Evil Horns to the NPC. After that, the player has to kill the Doppelganger MVP boss. The players is also required to clear at least 70 floors of Endless Tower and finally, give three different boss drops and 500 Necklaces of Wisdom. The best way to get the item is to buy in exchange but all of them would be really pricey. Not to mention, it has a lot of detours on Prontera, Payon and Geffen.

* ThatOneSidequest: For casual players, the quest to go up from The Adventurer Rank-Up sidequests are turning into these for casual players.
** From
Rank F to E is this. Rank E: At first glance, it doesn't seem to difficult: first take a picture of Ghostring, then submit a few drops to the NPC. Good luck.luck.
