** On the other hand, Taylor here is willing to forgive Emma for the incident due to how Emma was more or less driven insane by a her Trigger event and subsequent powers, unlike in canon where Emma did it out of her own free will.

* MoralEventHorizon: Emma, for that Locker Incident. Regardless of her twisted reasoning, she came up with it and saw it through to the end, which was even more disgusting than in canon given the details.

* CompleteMonster: [[TheSociopath Sophia Hess]], a.k.a. Shadow Stalker, is a sadistic [[TheBully bully]] who targets Taylor Herbert, calling her "prey". While Emma was a WellIntentionedExtremist whose goal was to awaken Taylor's superpowers, Hess just wanted a victim to torment. During her time as a [[NominalHero "hero"]], Hess would go out of her way to brutalize her targets, much to the disgust of her comrades. After Taylor exposed her brutality, which got her kicked out of the Wards and imprisoned, Hess breaks out of prison, kidnaps Taylor, carves the word "PREY" onto her forehead, and attempts to [[KillItWithFire burn her to death]] before the Undersiders arrive to stop her.
