* PortingDisaster: The PSP version of Challenge Of The Warlords is just as good as the other versions, except for one bug: The partner "support ability" system doesn't work.

* TheyChangedItSoItSucks: Debatable, but removing the ItemCrafting aspect could be regarded as one of the reasons Puzzle Quest 2 is a ContestedSequel.

* EvilIsSexy: in [=PQ2=]. Whether the player character is male or female, they will comment on the unexpectedly beautiful appearance.

* ItsEasySoItSucks: Puzzle Quest 2. Even on hard, this game is much easier than PQ or Galactrix unless you're playing as a Templar, which still isn't that hard outside of the Bonus Bosses, and the AI is a lot worse.

Bonus Boss is a disambiguation

** Even worse? The Yeti has this same spell. And it's healed by matching blue gems. Thank God it's a BonusBoss.

*** The Legend Returns remake gives you a few new classes. One of them is the Paladin. It uses yellow mana to attack with, and very early on gets a spell to convert a gem of your choice to yellow without using up your turn. It only costs two blue and two green. if you have two yellow gems near each other, you can spend 4 blue and 4 green to create two more, and set up a 4 in a row move to get another turn. or even set up a 5 in a row and get a wildcard. Combine this with the equips that gives you 6 mana of all colors. Why yes, you can fill up all of your mana of all colors without giving the other guy a turn. Having filled your green and blue, you can pull out 3 in a rows out of nowhere to create combos that get 4 in a rows, which once again give you the mana back, and MORE extra turns. Smile with glee as the computer sits there helpless while you get to take turn after turn after turn for a change. Even without the equips, you will get a lot of mileage out of maxing your yellow mana, and then when you are out of safe moves, smiting your opponent and forcing hit to give you something good.
