When Daffy sends him tumbling down a flight of stairs, the manager catches on that Daffy will attempt the same trick again and fakes a second fall while waiting by the door to stop them from escaping. When the duo tries to climb out the window, the manager lights a fire underneath them that propels them back into the hotel. After the manager chains Porky and Daffy up and keeps them in the hotel, Daffy attempts to seek help from Bugs Bunny, only to discover that Bugs has already tried and failed to outwit the manager and is being held captive at the hotel as well.
