* EarWorm: Nearly every track in the game is a remix of one single catchy melody, ending with a voice clip singing "Ha-ta-rakku-U-FO!", the game's Japanese name. Whichever version of this melody gets stuck in your head, you WILL be singing it for ages and singing the last bit in a doofy high-pitched voice.

* FanNickname: "UFO Man" is a common one for the haniwa that appears in several of the game's missions, if only because [[NoNameGiven their name is never actually stated in-game or in supplementary material]]. The more vulgar variant of "Penis Man" (sometimes written as "Penisman") is also fairly common on account of the haniwa's unintentionally phallic shape.

* PolishedPort: The Switch port features more precise controls (thanks to it using conventional stick-and-button controls rather than a touch screen) and includes a good amount of extra content for anyone who already had the mobile version. The end result is a highly well-regarded port whose transition from phone to console is generally considered surprisingly well-handled. Of course, it helps that the touch controls in the mobile version already simulated stick-and-button controls.

** It's been remarked that the game's cheerfully whistled [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkH1ClG3V6I main theme]] sounds similar to the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OUP_Z3iZPs whistle theme]] from ''VideoGame/DeadlyPremonition''.
** Jokes have been made about the fact that part of the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqb0ninbbe4 Tower of Infinity theme]] resembles the popular memetic [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cB4dYfFgaME theme song]] for [[WesternAnimation/WabbitTwouble Big Chungus]].
