** Many people took issue with his negative opinion of ''VideoGame/CallOfDutyWorldAtWar'' during the ''VideoGame/CallOfDuty'' retrospective due to his dislike of its brutal and nihilistic tone, gory violence and the portrayal of the Japanese Army which he found to be racist as he feels that the Japanese had a excuse to be brutal against its enemies, something that really angered some commenters with knowledge of the atrocities committed by UsefulNotes/ImperialJapan during UsefulNotes/WorldWarII. Many pointed out that his comments mirror the often used argument that Japan was an AntiVillain in the conflict, which greatly ignores how Japan committed many terrible acts during the war.
** Noah had a very negative opinion of the ''VideoGame/{{Postal}}'' series, especially the second and third game, which he criticized for their sexism, racism, promotion of toxic masculinity and overall tasteless humour, calling them "asshole simulators". Since the second game is an established CultClassic, many people didn't take this opinion kindly and the ''Postal'' retrospective remains the most disliked video on his channel.

* {{Anvilicious}}: Noah dislikes the kinds of gamer who valorize difficulty and are hostile towards anyone who wants an "easy mode" and won't or can't master very difficult games. He's been the target of such people himself as he admits to being a "fool and a stoner", an imperfect player who still has a lot to say about the various games he's covered. While it's understandable that he'd want to refute their arguments, it can get repetitive to hear if, say, one goes from his video on Control to the one on Dark Souls to the one on the other Fromsoft games.

Since the second game is an established CultClassic, many people didn't take this opinion kindly and the ''Postal'' retrospective remains the most disliked video on his channel, the fact he tends to leave out important context (like the Russian economy crashing during Postal III's development.) and tends to make alot of assumptions about the game and it's fanbase (Such claiming Postal Paradise Lost's writer writing the game with his hate for his wife) didn't help.

**The amount of time spent the ''VideoGame/DarkSouls'' spent railing against the "git good" mentality proved to be divisive enough that he specifically made a point of spending less time talking about it in the followup "Souls Inheritors" video.

Critical Research Failure is now disambiguate.

** Noah doesn't seem to know that ''VideoGame/Cyberpunk2077'' is based on the ''TableTopGame/{{Cyberpunk}}'' table top game, beliveing it to be more of a tribute to/pastiche of multiple Cyberpunk media during his ''Cyberpunk 2077'' single-game retrospective.
** During the ''VideoGame/DarkForcesSaga'' retrospective, he makes the mistake of using the "[[OffscreenMomentOfAwesome many Bothans]]" joke when talking about ''Film/RogueOne'' and the first game's tutorial mission where you steal the plans of the original Death Star. In reality those Bothans died stealing the plans of the '''Second''' Death Star.
** The review of ''VideoGame/GhostReconWildlands'' neglects to actually mention Tom Clancy's ''Literature/ClearAndPresentDanger'' with the same basic premise when discussing extrajudicial activity in foreign countries (which the book concludes are pointless). the fact that the game actually does include extensive acknowledgement of the fact that the Ghosts' actions are pointless [[spoiler: and ultimately in retaliation for an attack that isn't even Santa Blanca's fault]].

** His ''VideoGame/TheLastOfUs'' retrospective has caused this because of his view of the popular first game as he feels that while the game is a storytelling wonder with great gameplay and characters, he felt that the story was too predictable and overrated. However, he goes to great lengths to praise the controversial sequel for the same reasons its considered controversial such as having a story exploring the reality that there are no "heroes" in a GrayAndGreyMorality world, for refusing to dabble in "''saving the world''" or "''finding the cure''" story tropes and beats that exist in most zombie media and for taking risks that, in his mind, mostly paid off with the exception of the length of [[spoiler:Abby]]'s half of the story. He also firmly believes that [[spoiler:Joel]]'s [[KarmicDeath brutal death was the natural course to take in response for his actions]] in the first game. Some commenters felt that he was a lot more open to the sequel's story due to having played both games back to back unlike most fans that had to wait seven years to get a sequel and thought that he was unsympathetic to the people didn't like where the story went and/or didn't understand why many people hated the story the moment [[spoiler:Joel was brutally killed off.]]

Massively violates the Rule Of Cautious Editing Judgment and is written in a way to deliberately provoke a fight.

* AcceptableTargets: Noah has made it clear multiple times that he doesn't understand or have patience for anti-SJW types, reactionaries and people that rail against progressive politics in games in general, with him almost always implying that they are basement trolls and/or virgin misogynists that have nothing better to do in their lives.

Downplayed somewhat now that Noah himself seems to see that review as an OldShame, to the point it caused him something of a minor CreatorBreakdown.
** Was ''VideoGame/CallOfJuarezBoundInBlood'' really an ineffective {{Prequel}} because it ends on a triumphant note despite the fact that so many of its protagonists become horrible miserable people in the original (as Noah suggests) or is it a case of the game developers engaged in DramaticIrony? Or [[TakeAThirdOption is it an attempt]] at DramaticIrony that falls flat due to poor framing?

** Inverted in regards to his ''VideoGame/TheLastOfUs'' retrospective, which received backlash in part because of the glowing review he gave to it's controversial sequel.
